    Hi Guys

I bought a 56 ranch wagon that has tons of rusted out parts. Are the repair panels available? What's the best place to get them from?

    Thanks for any help!

Just from doing a Google search. Don't have any personal experience.

Here's a thread from The H.A.M.B. on the subject.

One thing that might be of importance - It seems there are a lot of places that specialize in repo parts for the '53-'56 Ford TRUCKS. Some of these sites it's not really clear whether the parts they are offereing are for the trucks, or for the cars - so beware.

In my personal opinion, you might be better off looking for a solid donor vehicle, maybe a project that somebody gave up on.

Last hint: DVAP - (Desert Valley Auto Parts), near Phoenix. They've got a lot of old stuff.

    Good luck with your search.

There are plenty of replacement parts for tri-five Chevys. But I have no idea who has them for the Fords. I'm sure there are places who deal in some replacement parts. Keep in mind some car parts will fit but nothing truck related.
There are a few members here with 50's Ford wagons. Hopefully they will chime in.
As Marshall wrote sometimes starting with a good rust free wagon might be the best way to go.

Good luck. There are still a lot of nice ones out there waiting.
