i am sure most of you have been where i am. i sold my wagon on sunday. i hated to see it go. i had up for sale for a long time, and secretly hoping it wouldn't. the matador has found a new home with an owner who is in the position to take good care of it.
Sorry! Or happy for you! Someone got a nice wagon. It sure looks good in the photo and I like the body style and color. Maybe the new owner will join the forum. Yes many of us have sold cars for lots of reasons and didn't really want to see them gone. It took us three years to get our 55 Chevy wagon back. Who knows, there may come a time when you get yours back or find another even nicer. Like an old girlfriend, we can still dream about her.
it's been a tough year for me, lost my overtime in the spring, and for the last 5 weeks been on workers comp. i have no idea when i will be able to return to work. so i know its for the best. i am sure i will back on the wagon circuit soon enough!
Sorry you had to sell your wagon. When the time comes, let us know and we'll help track down another...... BTW, it wasn't our own 'Cadipacer' who picked it up, was it? 'Cause he was looking for another Matador wagon. Marshall
no this guy is from maryland. funny part about this is, i bought the matador off a guy in maine through craigs list 3 yrs ago. my wagon's new owner had seen it and was interested but decided it was too far from maryland so he never pursued it. so i guess it was fate that he wound up with it
I am very sorry for your hardship. I hope that someday soon you will get that income flowing again and purchase another long roof. Best of luck
Sometimes things like that happen. I once found a video game cartridge and some time later - At least four months later and fifty miles away - I found what I believe to be the exact same video game system it came out of; The reason why is both of them had "Tan lines" (The plastic had turned yellow) on them in the exact right spots that looked like they were together.
I hope your not to uncomfortable...the Worker's Comp thing. It is sad to see your favorites leave the driveway, but sometimes you just have to do what needs to be done. Recope this too will pass...hang in there.
sward247 , life throughs us a few curved balls from time to time so good luck with your comp deal and wagonless or not don't become a stranger on SWF sometimes we just never know what's around the corner
