You know, its frustrating to see an ad like this one for an interesting car..........and NO pictures! And there should be at least one of the factory 8 track player, which I believe on these was a unit separate from the radio and mounted under the dash? :confused:

And did you notice there's no 'vista' in this Vista Cruiser. When this body came out in '73, a flip-up glass roof over the front seat constituted the 'Vista'. GM later decided it wasn't that important and made it optional instead of standard.

 

KK, you're right. I had a '73 VC about 35 years ago and it did, in fact, have the sunroof that popped up. Now that I think about it, I seem to remember you could take the panel completely out as well. Not positive, but I think so.
I don't think it's a $10K car, either.

 

Now down to $8000 obo. Interior plastics look good from what we can see.

Another huge price drop to $4999. This '76 Olds is moving into potentially reasonable range at this point.

Interesting how he has come down from $10K to less than half that. Ah, the marketplace at work. He needs to keep coming down, though. A '76 Vista Cruiser in this condition is worth about $2500.

Also, the car wasn't a Custom Cruiser back in August, and it's still not one now.

Having a little fun with this, and going back to the beginning of this thread, I made a plot of asking price versus time for this car.

Based on the trendline, the price of this car will be zero on May 22 of this year.
