Have I ever told you how great my hubby is? NO!?! Well he's GRRREAT! He has been working on Lil Sis most evenings after work and on the weekends. He has repaired the leaky gas line(check). He has replaced the oil pan gasket(check). He repaired the holes in both wheel wells(check). He repaired the pin holes in the driver's floor(check). He also replaced the spark plugs(not on the check list). We also replaced all for tires(check). Yesterday I went into the parts shop and picked up the sheet metal for the floor and ordered value pan gaskets. There is a slight oil leak but this shouldn't interfer with the inspection. When I got home he started right in cutting and shaping the metal to fit. It gave him a battle, it was pretty thick, but it got it fitted, riveted, sealed and painted. He finished it this afternoon. So, tomorrow I'm calling to get insurance on her. Then hopefully Wednesday I can get her in for her Safty Inspection. If all goes well after the inspection I'll run into the Registry of Motor Vehicles and get her new plate. Maybe by Thursday I can drive her to work... A few pics... Turned out there was a leak around the heater motor fan...he sealed that too. Who knows how long that was leaking but it rusted the floor and there was numerous pin holes. Good thing we got to it when we did. This is only one side but both sides looked pretty much the same.
Sorry, I'm a bit confused...are you looking for a husband? I thought you were a confirmed bachelor???
Congrats, fannie! I'm real happy for you!!:2_thumbs_up_-_anima I can just imagine you running to the wagon................
Wonder if fannie and the station wagon ever made it to work and back home? Or is she still riding around lost in her dream world?
