I joined because I've been loo0king for a 60 dodge hardtop wagon for a custom-- rest rod for 2 years, There's a really nice 61 polara wagon on sale on old station wagons that goes off sale tomorrow at 11 am. I'm looking for pictures of a 61 wagon side view to see if there is anything I can do with the 61 funky fins. or if I'm just settling out of frustration. Does this site offer photos? Does it offer any help for people looking to buy a specific wagon? Parts? Sandy 215 435 1963 sgold8452@earthlink.net

Welcome. Yes to everything. Just stick around and maybe check the SEARCH function. Hopefully other members can help also.

    Not a 'hardtop' wagon:

    'Hardtop' wagon:

A 'Hardtop' wagon has no full pillar post between the front and back doors. It has a 'half post' that only goes as high as the belt line - to mount the hinges for the rear door. Roll the glass down on both doors and you can move your hand through the area, from the front vent wing all the way to the C pillar at the rear of the rear door.

I needed you when my wife found our first 1955 Chevy 2-door POST sedan. :yup:

"But honey it's got a hard top!"
