Welp, I think I may have found a builder. It's a '67 Chevelle wagon, pictures make it look pretty solid, owner say's it runs and drives, yea, right... It's about 3.5 hours from me, so I' think I'll take the flatbed, ROFLMAO

The big showstopper, she is missing the driver's side cargo glass, tailgate glass and rubbers, as well as all the door handles.

How available, and expensive is the glass and rubber? a quick search showed lots of Chevelle glass, but no cargo or tail glass.
I assume the window cranks and door handles are stock Chevelle that have likely been repopped, and are easily availible. Has anybody been here before, and know where this stuff hides?

    Thank's, Paul

The parts you need will be the same for 66 and 67 Malibu/Chevelle Wagons. The rear quarter glass is curved. I still have the ones I removed from my 66 Malibu Wagon that I converted into a 2dr Nomad. http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29015&highlight=rmay
All the door parts will be the same for 66 and 67 Wagons and 4dr Sedans. I still have all the window regulators I removed from my Wagon.
You can check out some of the Chevelle catalogs for a wide variety of parts they offer. You can also contact Steele Rubber Products and they will design a rubber catalog specific for your application.
It can take a little research finding the right Wagon parts. Some may even be usable from other GM brand models like Olds Pontiac and Buick.
Look up a fellow poster on this forum called "Whiskeyrunner" He has a few wagons of this vintage on his property and helped me out with some rear window stainless I needed for my build.
Good luck with your build and have fun with it.

If used windows are not available, new ones can be made. Now before anyone lunges for their pitchforks and torches, the glass industry is set up to renew any piece of glass, starting from the first time any car got a two-piece windshield. Every glass pattern is in a cataloging that they use to make your glass. You tell them year, make and model, and which piece needs duplicating, and they make the glass according to the pattern. Of course, it's expensive, but some people are willing to pay that cost rather than holding up their build trying to find a suitable piece.

Well, first of all, I want to thank all who replied so quickly, Thank you.

However, as often happens, I tried to do my due diligence and somebody, quicker than me, bought the '67 before I could get there.

    OH WELL, the hunt continues...

Paul, maybe you will find one closer and more complete. Don't give up. There are a lot of Florida wagons coming up all the time.
