Great to see the old girl out and about! That is fantastic. Don't worry too much about the gas mileage yet. She's been sitting a long time, and cars, like people, get stiff. Drive her and she will limber up nicely. This 88 Grand Marquis had only been sitting a few months, and the gas mileage has improved by about 25% since I got her on the road, and all I have done is drive her!

Being new here, just got onboard to 72 Kingswood saga.
Good job and is now on the road
Has a lot going for it and gotta say would love to find a set of those wheel covers. Are way cool. Change out center cap for what car you put them on.

Thanks! It has been a long time coming! I took it again this evening and it ran perfectly, until I was doing down the road to park and it suddenly started "missing". I went ahead and parked and peeked under the hood and a plug wire had came completely loose. :p

And this seems to happen to most people after they work forever and get the engine running well.
This is another one of Mr Murphy's Laws. No matter how careful you are and no matter how tightly you put those plug terminals on one will come off on one of your first rides.
From the photos your wagon is looking good.
