Definitely more realistic price. Interior pics would help.

Not at that bargain $3K price. At the original flippers price of $6800, you might have talked him into throwing in a can of Turtle Wax to sweeten the deal.

I probably shouldn't criticize too harshly. $3K seems like it might be pretty close to a fair price (you could probably talk him down to $2500). It's got some issues, but I think it's generally usable as is, and it is a pretty rare wagon these days.

Remember when just about nobody liked wagons? Yeah, my '68 CS got laughed off a few car show fields, but you could pick up decent wagons for next to nothing, and no one was trying to snap up the reasonably priced ones and flip them at a 600% markup.

I hate flippers. Especially when I talk to a seller and tell them I'll be there certain day certain time and make plans to have someone else drive the tow truck for that few hours and then I drive an hour away to go check out a vehicle and I get there early and there's no car and, "oh hey, sorry about that, a guy offered to come get it last night so I let it go"...then I see it on CL a week later for triple the price or more.

Anyway, at least $3000 is a reasonable price for the wagon if it's as it says it is and appears, any surprises and need to go back to that $1000...
