Nice car Ian. I like the style - and it sure does look pretty. Good find and very practical.

Very nice Ian! Some say the 4 doors are an unwanted step child, but I like them. I see Power Seat on that one? Under the bonnet :camera:?

Well I do remember the skirt articles.:bouncy: I still remember those girlie cartoons. Vargus girls I believe. Only because I took art in high school and it was for the educational value. That's what I told grandma when she caught me. :slap:

the color (colour to you cannucks) is called "bluemist slate metallic" its a very blue silver

the interior seems to be an upgrade as its fabric and vinyl and i have see this seat in other lemans sedans though, most are full vinyl.
    the seat is power.

its an oddly optioned car... but then, you used to be able to do that!

    power steering (but manual brakes)
    power seat
    higher end cloth seat
no radio (originally...there is one now though)
    vinyl roof
    326 (originally a 2bbl i think. its a 4bbl now)
    TH300 2 speed auto
    intermittent wipers

Colour? eh? I said I think it's silver or very light blueish!;)
See I was right. I had a 1955 Chevy slightly darker color. I called it gunmetal blue.:taz:

There were articles in Esquire? Well golly gee, I never noticed any....

I have always liked the mid to late 60's Pontiac's, and for a family the 4 doors make so much sense. My brother had a '65 4dr Hdtp Impala with a 327, powerslide auto, optioned very similar to your car and he loved it. Got very good gas mileage, nice in town and highway car, it was very dependable. He still sees it around town from time to time.

Excellent find, Ian, and I agree with Mike T. Most of the midsize Pontiacs from the mid sixties that you are see are GTO's or two doors. I like the look of your 4 dr. Best of luck with it. Enjoy.

    What a find !
Carries those colors well. Has crisp look.
On the rare side since 4 door and wagon fate was the crusher.
