at the behest of Mr. Model T! Let me begin by saying the only difference between all of you and myself is that I sold all of my wagons over so many years, and now I miss almost all of them! Especially the Catalina with 3 on the tree, or my Vega with a 400 sbc and Saginaw 4-speed. Even my diesel Caprice that rolled 77,000 miles and never blinked. I do have the chance now to start over, and nobody here would talk me out of that. Also I make country wine, hunt birds, fish, and make sawdust. So hello to you folks and let me say this has become my favorite internet site. If I have the wagon bug again it's your fault.......see you again and best regards. Bern
Anyone who makes their own sawdust can't be all bad. But I don't think you should buy and build a station wagon. Okay I tried. Hurry get one and get to work!
aboard Wagonwest glad your already enjoying the forums. When you say "no one here will talk you out of it" do you mean here here or there here? Cause no one here would ever try to stop you from buying a wagon, actually some may race you for it... Here's hoping you get the bug again...see you around the forums.
Some members may talk others out of a station wagon so they can grab it themselves. Altho with our membership I really doubt it. We will help anyone spend their money wisely on a nice wagon.
wagonwest, we just love being at fault and we really hope you enjoy the bug as much as we do from Downunder
aboard Bern. Sounds like you had a few cool wagons. I hope you find something nice enough to fit your criteria and budget. I'm sure the state of Wyoming will turn up some pretty obscure offerings.
All you need is wood and a saw. Once they are rubbed back and forth together you will be making sawdust. You can move the piece of wood or the saw. It works much the same either way. With a power saw you can make more dust faster. The bigger the saw, the harder you work, the more sawdust you will make. Keep in mind, the more you cut off a board the shorter it gets and the larger the pile of sawdust will be. I am not a carpenter but I have made sawdust and watched real carpenters work. Please consult one of our in-house station wagon pros for more facts on making sawdust.
