Price is not unreasonable, either. :)

Very nice. The wood-grain interior trim is awesome on these cars. Pontiac was one of the first cars to have the wood-grain trimmed interior, at least as far as American cars go... it even had it before Cadillac and is now a trend that continues on today in luxury cars. I think it was first in the '59 or '60 Bonneville.

Did the Canadian Version of these get the lower rocker trim moldings ?
I don't think I've seen that much Rocker trim on one of these.
GM did put different trim on some of their Canadian cars.
    NICE RIDE !!!!

Maybe you Kijiji-familiar people can explain to me why I never see more than a few word description of the for sale vehicle. Are words extra cost?

The Bonneville received the extra trim, while the Catalina remained the plain version.

I'd love that gold wagon so much. I've loved the '65 and '66 Pontiacs since they were new. A woman across the street had a loaded '65 Bonneville four door hardtop, she let me drive it home from church one day. The price for this gem is very attractive.

I remember looking at a white '66 Bonneville wagon on a local Ford used car lot back around 1970 or so... Was out of my price range...

Is that woodgrain or actual wood? Real wood is kind of rare on North American cars of this era no?

Not sure. It looks like real wood, or at least it does not look as fake as wood-grain. lol. It has a different look to it for sure. Strange that Pontiac used it inside of their luxury cars before Cadillac and Buick did - I don't think Buick/Cadillac started using it until '65.

IIRC our '66 Caprice also had real wood, and my '66 Grand Prix (US version) also had real wood. Bonneville was US, top of the line for Canucks was Canadian Parisienne - again IIRC.. The US cars had US Pontiac engines and frames, the Canadian versions shared the platform with Chevrolet so you could get a 327, 396 or 427 in the '66-69 models. The fellow who purchased one of my Airstream's has restored a '66 Parisienne with factory 396, turbo 400, all original.

I guess Chevy went to wood-grain by '69, because IIRC, my '69 Caprice had plastic wood-grain accents.
