    NO, it's pointless not breakerless. Just accomplished in a different manner, either magnetically or optically. Without dwell between each firing, the charge for the next cylinder can't build.

    I always called it pointless and people laughed at me.
    Thanks for the correction though. I don't mind being correct and laughed at.

    Okay, so we laugh together, with one another. And everyone else looks at us like we've lost our minds. Sounds about right!

    one, is the power wire to the distributor and 2, did you tighten the distributor anchor clamp if not it may have turned the distributor out of time enough to not have any spark, and maybe pop distributor cap and make shure rotors in there ive seen a lot of people space that out putting in distributors if all good there follow power line to distributor back to a inline fuseable link check for corrosion or loose frayed etc I poke 2 pins on each side of inline fuse connect test light and turn on ignition key see if power to it.
