    Anyone else ever have any Icons come up missing from their desktops?
    I just found out what has been happening. Sound helps with the story.

    Every once in a while,my computers notify me I have desktop icons I haven't been using,and asks if I would like them deleted.Maybe yours deletes them automatically,like old deleted emails.
