im having some troubles getting lower ball joints for my wagon, have had
several wrong ones delivered, and im wondering if im missing something?

is the wagon a specific application and im getting one for a regular car??

or am i missing something all together???

Is the motor the same weight as the original? Did the car have AC to start with? Is the front end equipped with a stock swaybar, if there was one?

Then I'd go to a GM dealer, get the original part number for your model (with options) and ask if they can give you a cross-referenced part number. Then order from your vendor.

My dad had a 1966 Impala Sedan, but I honestly can't recall the steering geometry. You might check here too. They just changed to Free Registration to access their online Repair Manuals (with pics):

I just looked and they had plenty of ball joints.
It's common to the Impala, Nova, etc...
