"Your door is ajar" I don't think they were still talking in 88. My grandmother had an 86 T/C wagon and I don't remember it doing that. I think the models that did were in the earlier 80s. That seems like an awesome price for the car. Most that have come up recently have been in the 3 - 5 grand range for similar condition.
One of my colleagues at work had a Chrysler Fifth Avenue as a rental car in the summer of '86, so my guess it was an 1986 model year car. The talking feature was a source of great amusement to all of us. I'd rather have, say, the voice of Scarlett Johansson reminding me to buckle my seat belt than one of those profoundly annoying buzzers. Bring back the talking car!
