I was cruising the web the other day and came across a two page Review from the July 64 Motor Trend of the new 1964 Plymouth Fury wagon. It was for sale, so I bought it. It's pretty freakin cool!

I got the article in the mail today and was like a kid at Christmas! I scanned them into the computer, but it comes up as a text document and is to big to load on here. I copied some of the images from the ad I found online.

Here is the cover of the July 64 Motor Trend:

Here is the first page of what I got in the mail today:

For some reason I can't get page 2 to show in the ad, I'll try resizing the one I got and add it later.

It's real neat to find something like this that shows my car new, being reviewed by car guys.

I have that issue somewhere. Picked it up at Carlisle for a couple bucks several years ago. They did a review of the top 10 selling wagons (based on 1963 sales). The Fury was one of the 10. Also included in the reviews were the 64 Dodge 440 wagon shown on the cover, a 64 Country Squire, a 64 Ford Fairlane 500 Ranch wagon, a 64 Impala wagon, 64 Chevy II Nova wagon. If I recall correctly, the remaining ones included the Falcon, the Pontiac Catalina, and I think a couple Ramblers. None of the mid size 64 GM wagons were included as I recall, as they hadn't been around in 63 to be counted among the most popular.

Nice!! I can't believe those hub caps are staying on for that cornering test.

I still can't get the second page to load on here, but I'll figure it out. I was excited when I found it, I was even more excited when it came in the mail. I'm going to frame it and hang it up. I always geek out on stuff like this.
