Gorgeous! I wonder if you can fit a steering wheel from a '66...

Yup, the '66 wheel is a bolt-in swap. I did the same on a '67 Mustang I had many years ago, by swapping in a '66 Mustang wheel. That '67 steering wheel center is probably the ugliest bit ever bolted on a Ford product.

Technically, the '67 Country Squire was not a part of the LTD series. It used the high series grille, but, so far as I can determine from my brochures, and as far as I've ever seen personally, did not use the LTD emblem on the grille.

Country Squire wasn't officially referred to in the literature as an LTD until 1969 (although the '68 had LTD emblems on the hood, tailgate, and door trim panels, so I consider it an LTD). The '67, on the other hand, had no LTD badging so far as I know.

I can't tell from the photos, do the surround rails still have woodgrain? They look almost white or tan to me.

Does anyone else think that the 47 year old "main" woodgrain looks almost too good to be original?

I've seen asking prices this high and even higher for '67s, but I don't know what the selling prices have been. Of course, for that kind of money, I'd be going over this car with a microscope.

I agree. Woodgrain looks like it has already been updated, and the fact that they have more original woodgrain to go with the deal I think would indicate that is certainly possible if not probably.

I also think the price is a bit high. It's a really nice car, but the seats look like they are fading and discoloring, at leas one dent in the trim on the hood (damage to hood?) and a dent in the bumper and that is just the easily identifiable damage/wear. It would be interesting to see if it is as clean under the hood and under the car, neither of which are shown.

Still, looks like a very nice car.
