The upper 'wood grain surround trim' would have to remain, even on a wood-delete. This is why:

The tail lamp bezel was made with a little 'extension' to blend in to the upper trim. Chrysler I'm sure didn't make low-volume second bezel without the extension.....

    nice

Beautiful condition, would love to have that rust free body. However, she's a stripper. I would need A/C and power windows at a minimum.

Just wanted to pose the possibility that the woodgrain had been stripped off, the surround molding removed, and the mounting holes filled. I have seen it on other makes and models.

Does seem to be a nice car in decent condition. A good deal for someone who's not a woodgrain fan like me, as long as the bids don't get too high. At $4K it's not much of an issue. If the price goes high, the question of whether it's a factory wood-delete option could become important, as it speaks to the car's originality.

    And the winner issssssssss...................

    Winning bid:US $6,600.00

So the guy says he paid 3500$ for the car... The car was painted about ten years ago...
Was suppose to be original w/o wood.. I do not doubt as there are two chrome pieces
listed for Chrysler wagon for below tail light on the side of car... Wood cars got one that
curved forward and w/o wood, straight down and ended...

At 3800$ I passed as no options and because of the rust repairs that were done...
There have been others with more options just as clean and only slightly more money..
And yes, there was a pristine one that went for major money couple months ago...

Also somewhat surprising it went that high. Seller should be happy.

Maybe a "curiosity" price. That is, it's extra rare because of the wood-delete and low options. T&Cs were often the most expensive wagons on the market when new, so lack of options is very unusual.
