Hi all! My name's Steve and I've owned a 1965 Impala Wagon that I have VERY SLOWLY been rebuilding since 1997. The car has been in pieces in three different states. Since my wife and I have finally settled in St. Louis and bought a house I can get back to work on the car. I'm currently tearing it down for paint, hopefully it will be finished up by late June. I'll try to keep you posted on my progress if you're interested. Once I get the picture thing figured out I'll post a few of the car...and some of my work.
Welcome aboard lowagon. Definitely we're interested in your progress so be sure to keep us updated. Looking forward to seeing some pictures.
Here's a picture... Here's a pic from the last time the car was on the road at the Goodguys show in Joilet, IL circa 2009 I think. I've got many more "under construction" pics that I'll put up later.
Welcome lowagon. I would have looked forward to seeing your car around some car shows, but I moved from STL to Florida last year. I miss the car scene there, but this current weather makes me very glad I moved! Stay warm!
Welcome. Good luck. I know all about sloooooowly rebuilding. Hang in there and enjoy it. I started on some of mine when the Arch was still only a crochet wicket.
Welcome to the SWF, Lowagon! The '65 big Chevy is certainly one of the most beautiful wagons from the 60's - classic Chevy styling. Looking forward to seeing what you do to her this time around..... Marshall
LoW I aint usually a fan of BIG wheels...but I gotta say...that looks really good so whats the plans in the rebuild??
