P { margin-bottom: 0.08in; } twas the night before christmas, i jumped on the forum. saw no one was stirring not even ole' norman. The stockings were hung by the chimney with care in hopes that St Wagon claus soon would be there the members were nestled all snug in their beds while visions of woodgrain danced in their heads while Jenn hugged Delaney and I held the dogs we had just laid down and began to saw logs when out in the garage there arose such a clatter I grabbed my 12ga and went to see whats the matter. Off to the back door I flew like a flash … i tripped over my shih tzu and knocked over the trash The lights from the mill hit fresh fallen snow and reminded me how I had hit a new low. When what to my bloodshot eyes did appear.. but a old familiar face in a wagon was here its paint was dark cherry, on its badge lept a deer I knew for all certain we missed this guy here on his face a white goatee hid a warm smile and from it a voice said “its been a while” “I know you'll all miss me this Holiday season, But please don't be upset...ill give you the reason” “where I am at, is a wonderful place, with wagons and hotrods and every loved face” “I am happy and pain free with all my old friends, and I hope that your hearts will be on the mends” with that he floored it and left two long black patches the kind dragsters do, in hopes that it catches as he sped away off into the night he yelled “MERRY CHRISTMAS HAVE A WAGONY LIFE”
Awesome stuff Ian! Merry Christmas to all the wagon freaks, you're all family to me, best wishes and wagon love to you all. :You_Rock_Emoticon:
That seriously brought tears to my eyes. Awesome work, Ian. Happy Holidays, wagon family; all members, active or not.
Ian, your poem did start out annoying and goofy. But toward the end I also got a tear in my good eye. Thanks for annoying us. I know there is a silver lining in your annoying ways. HO HO HO!
Well done. That must have taken a while to compose. It is a very thoughtful tribute. Thank you for sharing it.

I sort of missed Ians annual annoying Christmas poem. But it's not too late for another poet to reply with one.
