Looks pretty clean and sounds like a fair price. Put the Rally II wheels back on it and its good to go.
I agree, it must have been garaged most of its life! The dash seems to be intact, and even the drivers side of the front seat seems to be in good condition. Definatly would be worth a look if it was close to me. Dam we just were in Reno 2 months ago.!!!!! Plus I do not think I have ever seen anouther 73-77 Pontiac A-body wagon with 2-tone Paint, I know it was optional, but very rare.
I need to move farther west because I can never find deals like that around here. Great looking wagon!
I was looking for one of these (73-77 A body) when I found my Bonneville. There are lots of aftermarket performance parts available. Great platform to play with!
Krash I agree but I am Biased, my 73 Lemans has that samw=e panel but with full Factory Gauges, great looking panel. And if you bought a Grand lemans in 75-77 you got that years Grand prix Dash, that wasn't bad either.
Yes Sir Yes sir I agree, this is the dash I had in my 1977 Pontiac Can Am, I bought one brand new as a young kid.... kept her 5 years and been yearning for another Can Am in the near future!
You also could get the factory gauges optionally with the base LeMans instrument panel, but they were arranged differently from the Grand LeMans, which has the Grand Prix instrument panel. (The Grand LeMans panel just looked better IMHO.)
I have never seen a Base Lemans Gauge package with the Economy Meter in it, just the large Clock that was most often seen as it was the base package if you ordered gauges, or like My 73 with the Tic Tock Tac as in this Picture http://i801.photobucket.com/albums/...Lemans Wagon/rr73lemsafarijeffreyreimus03.jpg It may be a Model year thing though, the later years 75-77 the Economy Gauge was probably ordered more often. Remember the 1st gas Crisis did not hit till October of 73, the start of the 74 Model year.
