    Jaguar D types are on top. they raced them before the E type was ever made.

    They were powered by a DOHC inline six.

    My guess is that may be a coachbuilt break.
    Jensen Healey did the same thing with some of their cars from the factory in the 70's.
    I can't remember exactly on the Jaguars because I think i have forgotten more than I know. Pretty sure I have seen those before though due to my long roof afflictions.
