    hmmm

Not too bad,,, on the outside. From what I can see of them, the tops of the seats inside look good. I'd gladly pay the asking price for this one.

It is rare to see one of these Chrysler wagons with so few options. This was probably a customer's custom order, as I don't imagine a dealer ordering one this way on spec.

This would have come with wheel well Moldings tho. Even with the
Wood-grain option. Probably taken-off when painted then not
re-installed on the car. Too bad, it would spruce it up a bit. Still, nice
    old Mopar Wagon.

Sure does look nice. And no options means less to worry about. I like that.

I didn't know that Chrysler even offered the Town and Country without wood. I think this is the first one I've seen without it. I like it much better with the di noc.

Brochure indicates the Di-Noc was standard.

My guess is that this one is a 'wood-delete' wagon. Doesn't look to me like there was ever 'wood' on it. Very low option content, too. Maybe special-ordered.

    Another possibility - a Canadian-market vehicle? No A/C.

I can't find any mention of a woodgrain delete option for the '71 T&C. I've seen plenty of Country Squires where the wood was stripped off and done well enough you couldn't tell it had been there in the first place (I don't know why -- wouldn't it be easier just to buy a Country Sedan?).

I'm a woodgrain fan, so I'm with Snooterbuckets on this one. What's the point of all the surround molding without the wood?

The Features & Specs brochure shows the assist handles as an option. My recollection is that at some point these became standard on 3-seat wagons, but apparently that was not the case in 1971.

As of now it's been bid up to $2600. If it's truly a no-rust car, and you can live without AC or woodgrain, it would be well worth that. Of course, I expect it to go much higher.

I think it is factory wood grain delete. It doesn't have the lower body moldings if the factory wood was removed at some point. Here's a brochure pic from '71.
