Can anyone verify the 'Ranch King' model name? I can't find a '52 brochure on-line, so I'm not sure on this. Seems to me it's just a 'Ranch Wagon'. I know for sure that name was in use for the '53 model year.

I checked "Ford Station Wagons - 1929-1991 Photo History" book by Paul McLaughlin and there's no reference to a Ranch King model. I think the seller was getting confused with the King Ranch pickup model. Also, I don't get why a seller wouldn't post at least one engine picture -all it says is V8 - for 1953 it was still a flathead V8. The Y-block V8 was an option in 1954.

Pretty wagon, all the same! I love the color, and if there isn't rust hiding somewhere, it seems like a good price!

I really like this one. A very honest car me thinks.

Yes I like it too. Much rather have it with the flathead V-8 than the later Y block I had in a 1954 2-door car. By 1952 the flathead had been around long enough to be a good engine.
