Anyone remember the thread about the Buick Estate wagons with the bizarre side moldings? Well, I knew there was at least one here in my area (post #13) with these ridiculous moldings all over the woodgrain, and found it today on Craigslist! I think this pic must have been of the parking lot of a Paranoiacs Anonymous meeting! http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10982 ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? http://dallas.craigslist.org/mdf/cto/4100031196.html Reply Reply to: xtwfp-4100031196@sale.craigslist.org Posted: 2013-09-30, 8:36AM CDT 1990 buick estate wagon 5.0 37,000 - $2000 (N Arlington) 1990 buick estate wagon 5.0 37,000 runs well look ok for its age paint is peel but it is over 20 years over looking of a cash offer right now air runs cold tune up , new water pump , brakes , calibers , radiator , tune up, horn need repair , ignition , battery ,door lock need repair , cold air work well need a horn and door lock on drivers side ... im buying a new car and this need to go and i hate to crush it its a big car 18ft long will hold 8 people 1990 the Estate model name was used, even though the Electra name was used for the its final model year, 1990, for the sedan models. Yup, I remember that. Without having any information about them, I believe we came to the conclusion that the wagons quite possibly belonged to a boarding school, and the kids would fling the doors open when exiting, resulting in numerous door-dinging incidents. I've seen a few of them come up for sale as well. Even seen posts on other websites, asking, "What the...?"
Well, if it's between a boarding school or a Paranoiacs Anonymous meeting, I like my explanation better! It creates more questions than it answers! David
