This is the easiest of conversions there is! Think Mustang. That is all you need do. Your Meteor is a Mustang under the skin, so the Mustang knuckles, discs, and all will slide right on in, no problem.

Check out Scarebird. I have used this kit twice. On both of my 67 Tempests. They are a great buy. Plus you can buy the kit over time to make it cheaper if you are on a budget.

They send you the brackets etc.. And you buy the calipers pads etc.. They give you a list of parts and where to get them. Pretty easy to install and in most cases you do not have to remove the spindles. Which is great if you dont have the tools for that.:pub:

no no no...your Cruiser is the same as a 63-64 Fairlane...which is not the same as a Mustang...close but NO horseshoe !:D
    That being said...still check out Scarebird..or www.abspowerbrake.com
..but dont look at Mustang..look at Fairlane......
    sorry mike;)

Rev: The Fairlane is a stretched Falcon. Since the Mustang is a Falcon under the skin, the parts are, if you choose the right donor model, interchangeable.

Rev Mike thanks for the info. Will do more research, Rev have checked with Scarebird only saw 1 rant really hard against him. Saw a couple of other things one a broken bracket but he backed up his product for both of them. If I go that way and its pretty straight forward may change rears to disc. Again appreciate all them help great forum. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

Mike....your sorta right..;)....the Fairlane and the Meteor have a completely different suspension from the Falcon/Mustang/Comet...however...Only the spindles will crossover ;)
