Looks complete but no interior pics, looks a bit crusty, looks like a car that if it was listed for $1800OBO just drive it in good weather and enjoy. Seller in his ad seems to think $5500....... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969...636126&lgeo=1&vectorid=229466&forcev4exp=true
I'm just not getting the expectations on price or or the seller's opinion about condition. The exterior is a "strong 3", yet there are rust holes in multiple panels and fit of the front passenger door is a bit of a concern. So is the absence of any pictures of the interior. If the interior, also a "strong 3" condition, is anything like the exterior even $1,800 would be high in my opinion.
When I was looking at the photos, the surrounding neighborhood reminded me of Kansas City. Then when I looked at the listing, it said the car is in Topeka, Kansas. I was close! I'm not super familiar with Topeka, but they used lots of salt in Kansas City during the winter months. This might be a car better to drive as is, as opposed to trying to restore it.
I just browsed the ad to see $5500.... So if the interior is a strong 3..... the way I understand things..... 10 would be perfect, 9 almost perfect.... so a 3 is?? I retract my statement...... maybe??? $1000 OBO??
I get the feeling that the seller is a small-time flipper, and not in the original owner's family. Probably the original pics from the owner in the ad...... This wagon's got way too many issues to invest $5,500 in it. $1,500 - maybe.
