Does not appear to be to bad. Did you drive it? I ask because all you said was "Started fine and sounds great" , no mention of how is drives. Is there going to be a new headliner installed for sure? Heat/AC work along with all other power gadgets? The cracked door seals don't surprise me, even my 87 Buick is starting to suffering from that. Oil clean, rad green, tranny fluid blood red?

rust bubbles under the wood..... did you lay on your back, stick your head rite under the car to see what the other/under side is like? Crappy thing is, to repair the rust bubbles under the wood, the wood has to be sacrificed Yet if it's not that bad, just leave it! the passenger side dog leg on my Buick had some bubbling when I got it, it has not changed one bit in the years I've owned it.....some times it's just better to leave well enough alone ;)

Good wagon is getting harder and harder to find, this one is rite infront of you, no OMG surprises if you bout one and had it shipped to find..........

    I'm a cheep bugger so $3k is more than I would spend...but I'm cheap:D

All and all, if you think you will be happy with it, that's what really matters

Thanks for the comments Tedy. Am going to put your points on my list. I did not drive it because I was put off by the rust bubbles. I going to give it a while and revisit it and see if he replaced the head liner and see if it calls to me. I think I out of my gotta have one now phase and have moved on to the gotta have a great one even if I have to wait or travel phase. Lol.
