Not much information in the ad. Does Kijiji charge by the word?
Looks pretty good, but with only 4 pics, there's a lot of area that isn't covered.

Yes, the GM full size 1980s wagons are good ones. They are very durable and comfortable. This would have the Olds 307 V8 which is not powerful but pretty reliable and it will get much better mileage than that '78 Colony Park with the 460. :yup:

and I'll bet this one runs!...or should I say "can start":biglaugh:.....

Also, seller replied "no more pics" WHY??? .... and posts the back seat, but not the drivers....... 9.9 out of 10 cars have great back seats, lets see the drivers seat.... before I spend a hour+ driving to view it.................

Crap, I took over a zillion pics when trying to sell my wagons, ferry costs killed the sale every time. Sellers think there wagons are gold plated or what?

These GM B-bodies. '77-'90 are very reliable. Lots of body part interchangability, too. All glass is the same from make to make. A lot of the steering and suspension bits ar the same. One thing you have to watch out for though is the hubs and wheels - not interchangable with the sedan versions of these cars. The sedans all have 5x4.5" wheel bolt patterns. The wagons (and early big-block sedans, incl police vehicles) have 5x5" wheel bolt patterns.

Each make has a unique instrument panel and seat/door panel trim.
As to engine power, you can find early ones ('77-'79 or so) with larger cubic-inch engines (Chevy 350, Pontiac 400, Olds 403, etc...), but that stopped after '79. After that, they all had the Chevy 305 or Olds 307, with a rare Olds diesel thrown in.

    Problem areas are:
    1. Headliner. Most that you find will either need the headliner replaced, or it's already been done. Cost for upholstery shop to do it - around $400. First thing I did to mine.

Not sure what else would be considered a problem area. Others may chime in.

    Hey guys

This car popped up again. I called about it and he had traded it for a mini van. He went on quite a bit about how nice it was etc And mentioned he figured the guy would trade it or sell it again. So I have been looking and found an ad for it for $3000. Is an older guy who has one pic up and wants Nadda to do with email or more pics. Lol

He is saying like the other guy great shape no rust etc.

Just looking for opinions on the price. Is not a classic per say but looks nice. I am going to try and go see it this week

Read the date of the original post, it's long expired. Myguy never put a new link up, even I can't remember what the car looked like.

BTW, the guy who runs this joint is a dang Frenchies!
[IMG]...and New Brunswick isn't French! :biglaugh:

[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]ok I stopped in to take a quick i look

was disappointed on some ways - "rust free" is not so rust free.

doors underside etc all looked amazing- was rust checked

but there were a few areas where u can see it bubbling blistering under the wood siding. back quarter panel pic

some of the weather stripping etc is worn and cracked and needs replacing

car is loaded - power everything .. all work except the antenna and A/C

He is having a new head liner ? installed on Thursday

Started fine and sounds great ---
