I found this site completely by accident, while searching for newly released models in 1:43 scale. I am a collector of American models mainly but, also collect Station wagon models in this scale as well. So, here I find some like minded folks and say to self...."self, this looks like a place I could get comfy in"! So, here I am, the Newbie!
I have quite a slough of 1:43 scale wagon models from all over the globe. Everything from an early Simca to the most modern (in my collection) a 1976 Chrysler Town & Country. Gotta love those people movers or grocery getters!
To those of you who might be interested, I'll gladly post pics of these models. In the 1:1 scale, I do not currently own any wagons, unless you consider an '08 Wrangler a wagon (I don't). But, over the years I have had quite a few. My first was a '67 Ford Country Squire, then a '68 Oldsmobile Cutlass Vista Cruiser, then a '74 International Travelall. All bought used, by the way! My first (and last) new car was an '84 Chevy Cavalier wagon, one of the worst mistakes that I have ever made. I later bought a '66 Chevy C-10 Suburban, now that was one cool truck! Only wish Ford had continued making the Ranger 2dr. Wagons!
Once I figure out how to navigate this website out, I'll load some pics here. Thanks all!

    Pete:cheers:

Welcome aboard! Post some pics of those wagons - I've got about 30 or so wagons in the 1:43 scale and am always looking for more.

Welcome, I just went through your gallery - that's quite a collection. I collect as well but mostly vintage stuff, I don't have too many of the Brooklin type. You can check out some of my stuff here:

I've also spent a good amount of time down the pike from you in the Augusta area.

Wow! That's quite a collection, Tait! I never knew there were so many die cast offerings in 1:43 scale. My collection efforts lean toward the 1:18 scale, and there are dang few wagons offered in that arena.

My favorite of yours would have to be the '57 Buick Caballero, since it's my favorite wagon of all time. What is the retail price range on those? I may have to alter my collecting strategy.......

    Welcome to the SWF...
