Maybe the illustration from an original magazine ad or brochure, framed and hung on a wall somewhere that she would see it every day would soften her up while the work on the wagon progressed.
Well, I was thinking that it would be a little more subtle if you put it on the wall opposite the toilet, as just a pretty picture with boats and water that happens to have a car in it, she couldn't help but notice it a couple times a day. And after a while she might even like the car in the picture. Thats when you tell her its the same as the car in the garage. Hopefully Fannie won't read this. Her husband probably did something similar for years before Fannie became a die-hard wagon fan wanting her own Pontiac wagon.
nope it was the other way around! to the joint 54chop. Does your wife like to hang out in the garage at all? Maybe you could get her to help out with a few of the things on the car? Even surfing the net to research it's history or finding parts...stuff like that...maybe you can encourage some bonding.
my wife likes old cars and trucks just not a fan of the big wagons. she likes the nova ll wagons but thats about as bid as she likes. She gave me a hand with our truck and im sure she will help with the wagon It will just take a little time. (here is a pic of our truck)
