Starting bid at $4k with reserve not met..... It appears the seller has removed his local ad witch I posted before, witch the car was listed local for $2500 OBO. Wonder if the seller watched a Barret Jackson :rofl2:

I did email the seller, just to say nice car etc but never heard back. "If" my 2 Olds had sold there would have been a good chance of this one being in my drive way! I guess only 90Merc can verify just how "no rust period" our island one owner cars really are.

Found my post, the car is still listed local.....@ $2500. Sheee, I could save some one a lot of cash! Better act fast as the ad expired on the 20th:dancing:

    It is a beauty!

You know, I hate when sellers see what high interest their cars have when they price to low, then jump the price up double or more! That's dirty!

Does this car have A/C? Is this another Canadian luxo wagon without A/C? I cannot tell by the controls.

I thought this car was in Victoria, but it's on one of the other islands now that I see a location on the Ebay listing. Being where it is, I could honestly believe the claimed millage as you have no where to drive on that island.

Not exactly convenient, and very expensive for viewing, let alone shipping cost from there, that would be more than double than from my island.

Any way you go, there is more than one ferry you would need to take and pay for just to get it on the main land. IMO this car is going to be there for a very long time. The blue dots are ferry routes

I'm wondering what people on that island do for a living.

The guy in the picture kind of looks like a fisherman.

hmmm at $2500 I was thinking I could fly out there from the East Coast and drive it home and still have a deal. That or get it shipped.

I phoned 2 times about this wagon for another member, I just missed the return call. Seller left a message saying it sold this week end and he'll be removing the used Vic ad (that expires tomorrow). Lets see if the ebay listing remains................

Well, I wish some one with a ebay account would inquire about the car, if it sold, well why is it still listed on ebay?...... with a inflated price/reserve not met!

    Hey, Fat Teddy
I have recently been talking with the seller ( The son ) His Dad is
getting too old to drive. It sounded Awesome and I was trying to make
the logistics work. ( Getting it here to Colorado ) But, there were some
paper-work issues on this end and it wasn't current on registration or
something about it still being in his Dad's name but he would be the seller.
Anyhow, he honest to goodness was trying to make it happen, but I just
really thought too much Drama could come out of it. PLUS no rear jump-
seats and they are becoming a pain-in-the-butt to find anymore. SO, I
figured the price jump was already from a flipper and that the flipper took
a picture of his Dad in front of the car. ( my guess anyway ). So, if we
see it for sale in the near future, well...... By the way, he actually had
people come by and LOW BALL him at $2,500 !!!!!! I mean come on now
    Really.........

How could they low ball him at $2500, when that is what it was listed for local? And as I mentioned, I was told by phone message after phoning 2 times the car was sold this past week end. Flippers can happen but....................

.....I had a strange feeling about this after it showed up on Ebay @ $4000 reserve not met, yet listed local @ $2500 and now you mention it's in dad's name and son may (?) be selling.... I think this is one to stay away from, some thing just is not rite about this sale.

Edit, I contacted seller from the local ad witch was listed at $2500, not Ebay $4000 reserve not met.........

Ad is still up local at $2500, until midnight anyway........No low balling if he was offered $2500....

I still suspect, the message left on my machine was a younger voice, not a old guy's voice so maybe it was the son of the original owner..??? So "if" it sold, then it sold to some one on the tiny island who wants to flip, I guess we will never know for sure unless some one with a Ebay account contacts the seller. Then if we hear the same "I'm selling it for my Dad who's name it's in...." Mopar wagon Luvr never mentioned if he contacted seller from the ad I posted or Ebay but the claim of low ball offers at $2500 is bogus because thats what the car was listed for local.:naughty: The link I posted has expired for contact, but the price and pics are still there.

Shipping is not going to be cheap unless seller is willing to spend ferry cost and atleast a day maybe more to get it to the mainland, and then get home.
