Haha, yeah, I was just kidding about those wheels. Coincidentally, I saw a video a while back of those guys painting that wagon long before those wheels were on there. It was kind of funny because it looked like a professional painting a car, then he pulled his mask down and started talking the most ghetto talk you could imagine.

I know you said no hubcaps, but I would choose these. lol. I just love the '73 Caprice hubcaps. I think I want a '73 Caprice just for the hubcaps. lol.

Check this one out... it has a '73 Caprice and a '74 Impala hubcap on it. lol.

Do you like the hubcaps that were optional on the 69-72 Chevys? This is the type mine has... they are hubcaps, but I think they look nice... they are very heavy however.

That very first wheel you put up would be my aftermarket choice if this were my wagon. My first choice over all is the 8" rally wheels with the small first style corvette caps.

It is a big wagon and it needs lots of tire IMHO. Bright works nicely, and if you happen upon some rally's you could swap back and forth down the road when the mood suits. I'm a fan of changing wheels now and then just to get a different look on my cars.

Whatever you choose, that is one great looking wagon. And the 2 door Caprices are nice cars. I can see why your DW likes it.

It had the 73 Caprice caps on it when I bought it. They look good, I just don't like hubcaps. I do like the rally wheels and I really like SS wheels. Maybe I will just use SS wheels and get the windows tinted and dual exhaust

And my Caprice is a 74 so it has the same bolt pattern so I can switch wheels back and forth all the time. I will always have a set of SS wheels on hand

I do like the salt flat wheels. But in IMHO you have to go to a 17 or 18 inch wheel and I cannot afford 17-18 inch tires right now

    split the difference...

use stock 91+ Caprice LTZ wheels, they're lacy like a wire wheel cover, but they're wheels, and they look good...

I decided to just keep my SS wheels and spend the money elsewhere.

Speaking of '73 Caprice hubcaps... do you know where there is a set of these laying around that no one wants? I am thinking of looking for a set for my wagon if I can find some very reasonably priced with reasonable shipping. I love the optioned finned hubcaps on mine, but love the looks of the '73 Caprice caps and may want to change them out from time to time. I was thinking of looking on ebay for a set or the derby site.
