havent been on this site in awhile, had to sell my 84 buick estate, Got a brand new acura tsx wagon and i love it! everything i loved about the accords in a wagon. anyone looking for a nice 30k wagon with a ton of standard features should check the tsx out before they are gone, i think they are putting a stop to them, atleast in this states with the 13 year model being the last. Pretty peppy but not a race wagon, but if you hit the sweet spot it will get 41mpg out of the standard honda 4cyl. Its stylish without taking on the rugged look to avoid the wagon category, low to the ground, handles like a champ. looks nice, will try to load a picture up soon. This car suits me perfectly, its loaded with features but without becoming a technology touch screen nightmare like many techy vehicles today are becoming. its very fun to drive and will scoot when you need it to as long as you are not starting from dead stop and trying to go uphill. its catching wondering eyes on the road, maybe the station wagon is getting close to making a comeback
Welcome back to the forum sir! Great looking little wagon you have there, I think I speak for all of us here when I say we know the wagon will make a comeback.
Welcome back. The wagon never did go away, it just migrated. Volvo kept building them until last year. Subaru did too. Mercedes and BMW still build wagons. Trouble is, all these wagons are TOO SMALL! If it won't hold a ton, and tow at least 2 tons, it is just not big or strong enough for my needs. The fun is to work on the old tanks and get the fuel economy out of them. It is there, but it is hidden.
yeah I agree, I would stretch it out a bit had I had the choice, but im really liking the lift hatch over the fold down or swing open door actually. its about as long as they get here now without getting put up on stilts, the magnum was a tad longer back when it came out I think
I don't really need any more hauling capacity than it offers, but I do miss being able to roll out a mat and sleep in the wag on camping trips, the estate wagon was roomy enough to spend the night in, this one, not so much so, 60 inches or so would make for a tight fit. here is someone elses photo side view, has a nice wagon profile even if it could be a little longer. I like the rounded end on this one, keep it the same and jut give me 1 more foot and it would be just right.
