some of you were around when i joined the forum almost 5 years ago...and some of you were there reading the "play by play" when my daughter Delaney was born. Those of you who remember... Delaney had a heart attack when she was 4mo. old. It was caused by several holes in her heart. which after weeks of being in the hospital was fixed via open heart surgery. they implanted a monitor to track and see if she was having any other issues. 3 years later they just took the implanted monitor out. and I am happy to say that apart from acid reflux (which i have) she is perfeectly healthy. And hyperactive!
That's great! I haven't been here quite that long but do remember you posting her birthday a couple years ago and she was just the cutest thing! That is from the father of 2 daughters, not quite so little anymore 15 and 12. Dennis

Good news is right, so glad to hear about your sweet little girl. It's amazing what doctors can do isn't it? Those tiny little hearts and they are able to repair holes...simply amazing. Three years ago huh... it must be time for a little brother.
Hooray! Glad that she's doing well. She's a cute little pixie, Dad. You're gonna have a time keeping the boys from sniffing around when she's a bit older. Good luck with that. Been there, done that, got the damn t-shirt. Twice.
