It is actually a '74 Caprice Estate It is a beautiful car. It is actually a '74 Caprice Estate wagon... this car has been for sale for a very long time... at least several years. This may be a reduced price. It used to be overpriced, or what seemed to be overpriced years ago, but considering what I have seen a few '76 models selling for lately, this price does not seem too bad now.
Another.....yes it's nice but.........been for sale for a very long time. I'm sure the asking price has nothing to do with that. Just how old are these pictures? sum'tin juss dun't seeem rite'ght..???...yet again.
I agree. How much did that nice '76 Caprice Estate sell for recently... wasn't it around $14K? This one appears as nice, but again, I think these photos are old. Personally, I would rather have a '74 Caprice Estate more than I would a '76 Caprice Estate, but I am not sure about other people. It also says "obo". I bet if someone offered $12K cash, they would take it, but again, I would want to check it out closely and/or get updated photos.
This one has indeed been for sale for a very long time and there has been previous discussion on it. The forum member who specifically is looking for a '74 Caprice Estate said he checked it out and it has some rust issues. Here are many more pics from the dealer website. You can see in the pic of the driver's door that there is some rust at the bottom edge. http://www.classiccarsintl.net/Chevrolet/1974_chevy_station_wagon_classic_cars_for_sale.php
This is the same place that has had a 1971 Chrysler wagon for sale for over ten years at a very high price... Now the T&C price is below 10 grand number but the car has gone to hell pretty much...
Salt lake is about 35 miles away from me, if someone gets serious about wanting this one I would take a look for you.
Being a Utah car like mine I can almost guarentee there is rust in other places almost certainly. I spent countless hours fixing rust, mostly on the the body mind you, but still.
