yes i know, however ive ran into some problems with my car and then on top of that a car ive been after for at least 10 years is now for sale. This car has alot of sentimental value to be. the reason being it was my papaws and i remeber riding around in it when i was little. I really hate to sell the wagon because i love it, but i would rather have the other car.

I certainly understand wanting to buy your Paw-Paw's old car. That is a chance in a million that you simply have to make work. If you don't, you will be kicking yourself for all time. If that means the wagon has to go, then do it, and this from a Ford wagon lover. Make sure you stay around here, though, since I bet there are wagons in your future. Make sure you start a thread about Paw-Paw's car, though. In the general area there is a thread section for non-wagon projects. Besides, a car is a car is a car regardless of the body style, and if you run into any problems with that one, someone here will be sure to be able to help you get that one looking and running right. As a matter of interest, just what kind of car is it? We need details!

Thanks for understanding guys, I really appreciate it. The car that was my papaws is a 73 Buick riveria. Sorry it's taken so long to post back, I'm rehearsing with a symphony to prepare for a tour. -JP

    Welcome!

I sure wouldn't mind owning either the 429 Country Squire or the '73 Riviera. I remember my sister and brother-in-law buying a new '72 or '73 Riviera. Loved the look on it. Seems the B-I-L really liked big cars......but I guess that changed since he drives an Accord now...... sorry for him.

    Good luck with your vehicles!

    :Welcome:

I'm jealous, it sounds like you have what i'm looking for. would love to see some detailed pic's, we might be able to work out some sort of deal?? i have a 2001 subaru imprezza with a blown engine and a custom body kit with coil overs but needs alot of work, also have a 1993 VW Passat with a vortex v6 that is my daily driver and in great shape, and a 1996 GMC suburban in great shape and or $$$$, good luck to you in whatever you decide to do with your wagon.
