Now that summer has finally arrived, I'm starting to think about our regular camping trips again. We have two booked this year, and it is the main purpose I bought my wagon. The car fits right in with family camp grounds and is popular with all the kids (and Dads).

This picture was taken last summer on the Sunshine Coast north of Vancouver. We had just finished about a 10km (6 mile) round trip to Skookumchuk Narrows and the kids were tired (2 were so tired they weren't interested in posing for pics!). Snack time on the Estate Wagon... kids had a ball.

So how many kids can you fit on your tailgate?

Great picture. Almost as good as a bunch of dogs in a wagon!:rofl2:

If you try for eight you are gonna have to stack them. Maybe seven of those same sized kids. Loved the photo.
My 24 year old and his two buddies just tried my 55 wagon tailgate. It was full! They wouldn't sit still long enough for pictures. :camera:

    Great pic!
I bet you could get 2 or 3 more on there this year.
Put the bigger ones on the bottom row and let the little ones sit on their laps; you might get 14 on there!

Most of you have seen this one:

    1966_may_plymouthfamily_at_eburg_3.jpg
Technically not really on the tailgate.
Aunts and Uncles at Great Grandma and Grandpa's house. I think my dad is the one on the front seat (all you can see is the back of his head.)

I'll have to get a new one with my boys and their dog in the back to go with this one.

That pic reminds me of the road trips we used to take in my fathers 76 Pontiac Catalina Safari. It didn't have a 3rd row seat, so all the luggage would fit under the deck. My older sister had to sit up front between my parents, and my dad would fold the rear seat back so the three of us younger kids could lie down in the back with our sleeping bags and move around all we wanted.

Oh the things you could do before mandatory seat belt laws!

I had my youngest son and six of his friends in my Colony Park right after I got it...I wish I had got a picture of that, as it looked like the defensive line of a football team in the car! We're talking some big kids!
