the car will painted in two tone, but i don´t know: red under anthracite up or reversed.
where to make the line ?

Personally, I like the way your wagon looks now better. But if you must do a two tone, I would paint it the candy brandywine, then have a dark "anthracite" woodgrain custom painted on to replace the wood grain siding.

The only problem I can see on the Pontiac, when it comes to a 2 tone paint scheme, is that the wood grain moldings are also wood toned. If they were polished stainless, I would keep them for the change of colour. The rest of the body lines don't have natural breaks to set the colours apart, either. On the Buick, for example, you have the sweeping character line that delineates the wood grain, and that line will work well for a second paint colour. The Pontiac, though, just has the wood grain inset in the middle of the panels. With the trim, it looks good. Without the trip, it is going to look either unfinished or arbitrary, I think. None of the trim available on the Pontiac clams is going to give you that nice finished look, and none of the other brands have trim that will work with the character lines on the Pontiac. Good luck with your choice, but I'd be tempted to keep it as is, and if the wood grain is looking sad I would have it air brushed in to keep the look.

I agree with Mike that your options are limited for a 2tone paint scheme.
Given that, I think the red would look best on top.
The rear corners are going to be a problem with getting a clean division between colors.

    thanks Steve
but..no way, no more wood on car.
and i can find out my own character lines.
red on the top, hmm, i don´t think so.
dark anthracite on top and red on the lower section.;)

Sounds like a standard Chip Foose paint job. Just watch almost any random episode of "Overhaulin" and you'll see that style of two tone paint need not follow any character lines.

no straight lines, and also not too tricky.

Can't hide the wood trim without spending more time than I have right now.

Here is the red on bottom.

That woodgrain sure narrows all options.
I'd choose something either neutral like silver or corresponding to the grain like burnt orange

To change the entire color of the car are you going to remove the doors, tailgate and trim?

Sort of like this? Only without the bodyside molding. And the great looking Rally wheels.

I'd get rid of all the woody kitsch. If it isn't real wood, it looks cheap

Couldn't agree less with that statement! Some makes do fake wood better than others, ie Ford Squires of the'60's, but I love just about any woodgrain wagon!

    David :)
