    New Car!

Feels so good to have that new car after a long wait.
Looks good. I like the color.
    Congratulations on the purchase!

We have a lot in common. Plenty of sun damage to repair!

I love it. I'm glad you got rid of the running boards and the ugly rims. Those factory wheel covers look much better.
    I like the camper too.

Dang, that thing is awesome! I love the way it looks as it sets. I spy Washington plates. Where did you find this one? I have the same camper. Aristocrat Lo-liner. The rear has the quote "You are following an Aristocrat" great little campers.

I picked this Fury Wagon up in Roy, WA. A cool thing about it is I got the original window sticker with the paper work. Sold originally 4/26/69 from dealership in The Dalles, OR and is equipped with "Turn Pike" Package. Selling price new was $5,097.70 and that included about $1,500.00 in options.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Glad you agree with me, I think the car is really cool and my plan is to replace the wood grain new and leave the paint exactly as it is. I was originally thinking wet sand and clear but now i am considering a Linseed oil rub. Any thoughts?

    Cheers

    woodie fix-its

This will probably sound corny, but use some Lemon Pledge on the woodie. Then cover it over with a layer of Amour-All.

Congrats, be a awesome combo when done. I'm sure your wagon was posted in the 4-Sales sometime back as I remember that tail gate.

As for your wood....Pledge yes, Armourcrap no but that's just my opinion..... Kisco is cheaper and you get the same results:rofl2:

I'm not totally slamming Armor All, some members swear by it, I just find it leaves a greasy finish that attracts dust. I use leather conditioner with good results.

Have fun with it, you don't see many of them with wood any more(y)

    armour all

I suggested the armour all, cuz, in times past, I have noticed that the Pledge washes away easily. it's for your coffee table, which usually doesn't get rained on. used the armour all as it lasts longer in the rain. leather conditioner sounds like a viable alternative to the armour all.:1st:

Nice. That will look unique indeed. I think it has tons of character. So you found the car in Roy, where does it live now?
