Its ok, I guess.. Not fond of grey.. Where I do like the '69 steering wheel,, I would like it better in a '69... The wheels are NOT 1963 types and neither are those hubcaps... The shifter is aftermarket... And no way in hell did that car come with buckets and console... Its a nice resto-rod type car..... Would I kick it outta my driveway....? No way in hell !!!!!!!
I can hear the un-belted kids in the back seat yelling "FASTER, DAD, FASTER!!!" as we head off to the drive-in for ice cream cones! Actually, that console is from a '63 or '64 Dodge 330, so it and the buckets could've been ordered in a wagon, if the right boxes were checked. No four-speeds in '63, so the three-speed shifter could've been a column OR a floor shifter.
I don't much like the hood scoop but otherwise I am all in. I rather like the color (or lack there of). Hubcaps have a nice Dragnet feel to them. mike
If it meets reserve, this one's hoing to go for pretty big money. Some Mopar guys would give their eye teeth just for that 426 wedge.
Doesn't have a 426 in it either, KK.... from advert: "This 1963 Dodge Coronet 440 Wedge Tribute Wagon has a 446c.i. (440) 2x4BBL Max Wedge Equipped V8, 4 Speed Manual Transmission, 8 ¾ Rear w/ 3.91 Sure Grip, "
The dealer is asking $39995 for it: http://www.fastlanecars.com/classic...-Wagon&c=a59a506f-2451-47a9-a962-57ae36f8fa6c
