I got all set to install my front seat and discovered the seat tracks I have don't fit correctly. The holes in the floor pan are 11 inches front to back. The tracks I have measure 9 inches. Could they be from a 2dr sedan?
I need to know what will interchange with my 1963 Bel Air 4 dr. wagon.
    Thanks in advance.

I believe you can switch the tracks, easily.

I've got one... I'll look and see what it says and post it here. Might be a day, have to dig it out. You looking for seats, or just seat tracks?

The problem I'm having is that I didn't disassemble the car, so I don't know how the front bench seat was bolted down.
I have been told that all Chevy bench seats of that era were the same. That said the seat tracks have holes for the bolts that should line up with the floor pan. They don't match, the holes (slotted) are 9 inches font to back and the threaded holes in the pan are 11 inches front to back.
I have to assume that I am missing parts. There had to have been something between the tracks and the floor that made up the difference.
I don't know anybody in my area with a '61 thru 64 wagon that I can refer to.

Can you post a couple pictures, so we know what we are talking about.

Do the seat tracks have 'feet' on them?

I'm not completely familiar with the '63 Chevy, but that seat track looks modern to me. (I've had Pontiacs, 1958,64,66,67,69)

The Hollander says that Chevy Passenger vehicles, bench seat, only interchanges 63-64 and then 61-62.

Looks like a non-exact reproduction of an original track maybe? There's a set of '63 bench seat tracks on evilbay, I grabbed the pics.
9 inches doesn't seem very far apart for any seat base?, maybe they assembled them wrong in China?
