http://cfl.craigslist.org/cto/3659496509.html Comments? Maybe a little high? A 93 would be a non- LT1 right? This is close enough for me to take a look.
Yes, that would be the mighty TBI 350. The car appears to be super clean and at that mileage it has a lot of life left in it. Cash usually talks so it may be had for somewhere just south of $3k.
Another roadmaster http://ocala.craigslist.org/ctd/3695587059.html Another RMW. Sometimes it seems like roadys are cheaper at dealers than with private sales. Does that make sense?
http://miami.craigslist.org/brw/cto/3693564153.html Another one looks pretty good - no mileage. Single owner.
I was getting the VIN verified on my OCC at a new car dealer after I got it a few used car salesman were checking it out. I was telling them what some low mileage LT1 Roadmaster wagons sold for and they couldn't believe it. I don't think they research much.
That makes sense. I see it all the time. But even though they're cheap they seem to sit at dealers and fly in private sales. A lot of people must be like me and steer clear of dealers. In my entire life, I've only bought 1 truck from a dealer. Must be the bad image they have in movies/television.
I'm really skeptical of dealers that advertise on sites like Craigslist. BlueVista, you're right about the price of some low mileage LT1 RMW's. I'm sure I've seen 'em on eBay for over $10,000.
I think that is one a frend of mine drove. If it is, it has a bad posi. The 93s were not collector's edition, The only ear that is a collector's edition is the 96. Dealers seem to have the ability to hide defects that the private owner does not. Dealers also know how to roll back mileage just enough to not get caught. I would not pay more than $2K for a TBI car unless it has less than verifiable 50K on the clock. Of the three the LT1 car looks like the best deal, even with 140+ on the clock.
Hey...I have a Florida clean 1 owner (2 counting me) LT1 car with 116k on it for (now $4700) with lots of extras and the floor shift conversion done.
