You have a lot of nerve, swanny. You said you have $3500 in the car and now you put it on eBay and it is at $1997 with NO RESERVE! WOW...you better hope it gets to $3500! :yikes:

Yes, I do have $3,500 in it. Gambling it goes well. And HonestHilb you are correct. I bought it off of pictures, yes it is a nice car. Is it up to my standards? No, but I told the guy I would buy it so I did. I do not go back on my word once I say I will take it. Hopefully I get my money back and can invest in a better quality car. Not saying this one is not nice, but I am very picky and this car does not do it for me.

Hope the no reserve roll of the dice pays off for you. No way I would have eBayed it without a reserve of at least $3500.

Very smart to put in the eBay listing that you reserve the right to end the auction at any time. ;)

Sometimes NO reserve cars get more and HIGHER bids than reserve do

Usually what happens is someone will bid up and find the reserve only to cancel their bids anyway. I have had tons of messages from people on ebay asking for a buy it now price, and three of them are very serious about buying it. If it sells that way I can end the auction early with a buy it now addition to the sale.

Well, you have covered you but in this auction, If you don't get the bids you want, you can pull the ad at last minute

Why not just have the bidding start at $3500?

Seems like a nice car at a nice price. I hope you get your price. As a side note, looking at the crust in the engine compartment makes me think a radiator hose broke and the antifreeze spray was allowed to sit for quite some time. That stuff is corrosive enough to leave the top side looking just like this.

If you start at that amount most people will just bypass and not even look at the add. You have to start low and get people to watch the auction and get caught up in the craziness of bidding.
