But it's got a stick on hood scoop and Transformer decals, of course it's worth that much. It is in immaculate shape, though.

I'm assuming that he spent most of that time raising money for what little appears to have been done. Granted the paint is new, albeit questionable, and I think it's a safe bet that the seats were "as new" when he bought it. The carpet and door frames haven't been cleaned. There hasn't even been an attempt to hide the wiring for the electronics "upgrades". Judging by the engine compartment little has been done under there other than the routine maintenance he reports. I realize I'm a little bit detail-oriented but I'm just not seeing that kind of money ever coming back out of this thing.

Yikes! :yikes: It was probably an OK car before he got his hands on it ... but at the end of the day, it's just a Camry, fer cryin' out loud! :slap:

I like the hood scoop that does nothing. The air intake picks up behind the battery pan.

Modifying a car like that cuts your potential buyers by 50-70%. Most people don't think about that.

Excellent point. Most guys that build a car for themselves never get their money back.

Too many trips to walmart and autozone shopping in the air freshner/stick-on doodad section.
