455 V8 and 3rd seat. The exterior is hideous. Even removing the woodgrain and painting it all yellow would have been much better than this nauseating two-tone. http://littlerock.craigslist.org/ctd/3648019624.html
True, but I would automatically deduct from the asking price the cost of replacing the woodgrain and repainting the roof and front bumper filler panel. That should knock the price down to more like $3000-4000.
I agree about the colour scheme, and having the roof done to match makes it even worse. Still, a solid car to start with by the look of it. Seems to be pretty well equipped as well. I hope someone with some taste and cash to spare buys this one and brings it back to its former glory!
Ugh! My eyes! I would have at least painted it brown where the woodgrain was. Someone was colorblind! If it were mine, the woodgrain would be placed back on there. I have a '73 Grand Ville sedan (sedan version of this wagon) and these engines are amazing. Mine has been one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned. Even all of the power windows still work!
