My first car was a 1978 Ford Thunderbird Diamond Jubilee in met silver/blue. It was a southern Calif car, 400 cid, C-6 trans, LOADED, other than the moon roof or "t bar" option. Owning her, showed me what a real car is.

I have some pictures of both these cars but havent scaned them yet.

My fav car, it was a hard choice but I did like my 1976 LTD 4 door. Bought this in Wyoming in 1998, 400 cid, C-6 trans, bought her for $1190. The man that owned the car bought it orginaly back in '76 in Laramie Wyoming. It was his wifes car, she died in '96-'97 and didt have the heart to give it up. He had the engine & trans rebuilt, repainted, and a new top put on about a year before I bought it. This is the same color and roof option mine had, but I had the "pie tin" hub caps.

Mine was my Dad's 1986 Buick Skylark that I inherited. Interestingly most of my cars have been GM models and i have never owed an import model.

My first car was a '52 Plymouth Cranbrook 4-door that I paid ten bucks for in 1973 at the ripe age of twelve! Drove it home myself, too!

My favorite car is my '66 Coronet 500 that I have owned for nearly 30 years. Also had a '69 Dodge Dart GTS 440, that was a factory 440 automatic car. Had that back in '88-'89. It was a fully-restored, numbers-matching car that would be worth about $200K right about now...

My first car was a 1972 Chrysler Valiant 225 /6. I bought it when I lived in Switzerland for my final thesis. When I drove it home, I got a panty from the secretary in case my v-belt would brake!

First car was a 75 Mercury Monarch Ghia 4-dr. Green w/ white top/green interior, and a 351W with a bad hesitation starting from a stop.

Favorite car... it's a toss up between my 95 Roadmaster sedan I had a few years ago and the 2001 Park Avenue I have now. The Roadmaster had the LT1, great styling and rode like a dream. The Park Ave rides like a Camry  instead of like a Buick, but it has just about all the toys and now I'm spoiled.

My first car, was a 1960 Chevy Bel-Air. 350 with a powerglide. Custom blue metallic flake paint, cragar ss rims, bf goodrich meats. Just a beast of a car, and a boat of one too. Unfortunately I got hit and it was totalled.

I would like to have my dad's first car. It was a 1966 Chevy Caprice woodie. Had a 396 with a TH400 trans. He raced a guy in 1980 with a brand new mustang and blew the doors off it!

First car was an '82 Honda Accord Hatchback. Got it in '86 with 108k miles, sold it with 282k on the clock in '89, was still running good just rusted out badly.

Favorite car is my '78 Pontiac LeMans sedan that I still have, bought from original owner in 2000.

My FIRST car (in 1969) was a 1963 Oldsmobile F-85 Cutlass 2 door coupe, with the 215ci aluminum V-8, 4-speed hydramatic. It looked basically identical to this car, except for the tires:

I bought it with my own money ($750) from Santa Monica Ford in Santa Monica, Ca. after graduating high school. BTW, the dealership is still in business, and last I recall, their used car lot is still in the same location.

My FAVORITE car. Wow - that's a tough question..........

    Is it.........
The 1966 Corvair Corsa (car #3) , with the 180hp turbo motor.......?
No - didn't own it long enough to truly enjoy it, and I never got it running well, either.

(A truck?) A 1979 Toyota P/U (with automatic!!) that the wife and I purchased slightly used in about 1981. We slapped on overload helper springs and a cab-over camper and went all over in it
No.. Although probably the most reliable (next to our current Ford Explorer) it was the experiences that were the most memorable,

The 1985 Mercury Grand Marquis Colony Park? - bought used from a local Chevy dealer in January, 1989. This is the luxury wagon that I always wanted - white exterior, dark brown leather inside. It LOOKED like new.
Unfortunately, it burned up in Vegas a week after we bought it. Not this one.......

I'd have to say my favorite was my 1974 Mazda RX4 station wagon, purchased with about 20,000 miles on it in 1976 from Torrance Mazda. (my wife also had another RX4 at the same time - a sedan). I may have some pictures, but they're not digital. Will look later. The wagon looked like this, except for the wheels, and it was yellow........

This a real fun-to-dirive wagon with its rotary engine, and pretty good handling for its day........Onlt thing bad was the gas mileage. (around 15 mpg)
