Knowing that you have a '95 Cadillac Fleetwood why not try out a '91-'96 GM B body wagon? Your D body Caddy is basically the same platform as a Chevy Caprice or Buick Roadmaster. Good luck with the search.

Just out of curiosity, what kinds of mods would you have to make to the 351 to get that good of mpg?

Change the 2 bbl VV carb to an Edelbrock Performer and 1401 square bore carb, and put on a good 2 1/4 inch dual exhaust with high flow mufflers. Other than that, just choose good tires. My 89 Grand Marquis sedan did that mileage right off the show room floor, and my brother's 86 Colony Park was still doing that at almost 500,000 miles.

I have a 460 out of an old '71 Continental. I'm wondering if that could be modified to get any type of reasonable mpg.

My current project is to get an engine into Bertha, the 78. Either a 400 like the original, or the 460. Since I can easily drive 1,000 miles a week, you better believe that serious fuel economy is in the plans!
