http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Ford-Fairmon...3160758?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item43b79a70b6 I put this here in the lounge because it's not a wagon. Looks fugly to me, but I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I saw that 'Fast N Loud' TV show where this car was featured. All I have to say is they should add 'N Crappy' to the shows' title.
I saw that episode too. I got to say, those guys look like they have a lot of fun. It's probly a fun car. Just not my thing. I'm a FORD guy, and I like most anything with the proper number of cylinders a stick and right wheel drive. This is certainly unique. Just not my thing.
x2 Bunch of hacks looking to make big money on quick flips with badly done bolt-ons and lousy paint jobs.
Saw that show too. Not one bid at the Mecum auction. And not surprised, that chrome wrap job is STUPID.
That does not suprise me at all, what suprises me is as of rite now there are 65 bids @ 17K rite now.
I like this from the bid history: Cancelled: US $19,000.00 Explanation: after placing a bid responded back that his wife wouldn't let him buy the car
I'm not a fan of the chrome vinyl wrap or the big goofy stickers, but the performance parts are what I focused on (engine, trans, suspension and setup for racing). It would be cool to put it back to "Grandma mode" on the exterior but have everything else on it - surprise a lot of Mustangs, Camaros and Corvettes!
Exactly. The main guy on the show is only interested in making money. His partner the tech guy (long hair) seems have more sense. He's the one who should be in charge. Only reason they put on the chrome overlay was to hide the rough condition of the body. Hard to say what would go on if they were not on TV. I suspect these guys wouldn't even be in business.
I've only watched the show a few times. It's the typical reality show "everything has to be done in a day" deadline and it seems like everytime I see it they lose money on the cars. I could do that - I should be on tv.
