Sadly I don't have the Stupidbaker anymore. It was a 53 R16 1.5 ton with 20,000 original miles. It was a local farm truck that just did farm to field all its life. Rust free since it never saw the salted roads (other than the surface rust from sun baked paint) My project load has just been too high to do it justice so I let it go on to someone who had the time to restore it. I've also had a 63 Lark and a 50 Champion in the Studebaker family and well a loooong list of other oddballs and misfits.

http://misfittoysracing.com/TheList.html Hasnt been updated in awhile, about 10 cars missing from the list, but it gives you a general idea of my problem :)

If you like bizzare, theres a pair of Russian Volgas for sale on Craigslist here in northern Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC. Too bad they are both sedans. They made a wagon too.
    THEY ARE NOT MINE.

Offered for sale are two extremely rare and unusual vehicles. Although popular with the elite class when they originated in the Soviet Union, few if any of these Volga automobiles are seen in America today. Here is your chance to buy two of them! One Volga is a 1959, and the other is a 1966 model. Both are in original, unrestored condition, and both ran well when stored several months ago. They are available as a pair or separately. Please don't hesitate to call George at 703-969-1715 anytime with questions or to arrange a viewing.

I have seen the Volgas and if I were a rich man I'd own them. I seem to be starting an odd collection of communist cars so they'd fit right in.

Geez Rev, I was out in the shop most of the day. I had the radio a tad loud though :p , CBC has some tremendous Choral music on Sundays that I quite enjoy - not sure my neighbors are as enthusiastic about it but so far they've been polite.

I got the engine/trans out (see my other posts). Had the neighbor pop in this morning to help the wife and I remove the hood before he went to work. Then my buddy with the '57 Pontiac Laurentian 2dr post car, who has been involved with many engine swaps in my wagon from the first day we got it home, came over for half an hour of lifting the engine/trans out. Sorry I missed your call, we could have listened to nice music and perhaps that would have soothed your soggy body. Thanks for thinking of me. As it is, I've run out of steam for a while so I'll put this aside for a while and catch my breath, and figure out the direction I want to go with it.
